Who We Are

Science Interactives builds exhibits—hands on interactive exhibits.    The principal is Clifford Wagner, with more than 25 years of experience in science museums and children’s museums.  He began his career at Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute (chief device developer), moved to the Please Touch Museum (manager of exhibits) and founded Science Interactives in 1995. Clifford’s years of experience with hands on exhibits is complemented by artists, musicians and other specialists.

How We Do Business

Science Interactives exhibits are kid-tested in a very challenging environment: science museums and children’s museums.   We design them to work, and to keep on working no matter how many small hands push, shove, twist and play with each control every single day. But we know that no matter how carefully something is designed and built, sometimes, an exhibit device will stop working.  Every time something does stop working, we improve the design so it won’t happen again.  But if something does break down when you are hosting one of our exhibits, we’re there to help.

We Support Our Exhibits

If an exhibit device malfunctions, you can call Clifford at any time-- seven days a week.  He will help diagnose and fix the problem on the phone.    If necessary, you can send a component back to his shop for repair, or he will send a replacement part to you.  If all else fails, he will come to your museum to fix whatever is broken.
